Two out of three Jerusalem children fall beneath the poverty line. Indeed Israel’s poorest and most populous city is filled with struggling residents – special-needs students, at-risk teens, disabled adults, aging seniors, men and women besieged with challenges at every stage of life who seek to rise above their difficult circumstances and build healthy and productive lives. The Foundation identifies and responds to the needs of vulnerable populations, advancing every sector by building cohesion in weak communities, empowering the disadvantaged, and ensuring the dignity of the city’s oldest and youngest residents.
