The program currently operates in 150 schools in Israel, with Jerusalem serving as a model for other cities. We strive to expand the program to all schools in the city to provide each student with the inclusion and confidence he or she needs.

Several program participants live on the street or in shelters for homeless youth and attend the program after dropping out of several educational and therapeutic programs.

The framework provides a unique solution for the youth using tools from nature therapy that uses nature as a therapeutic resource. involvement in nature helps empower these young people and provides them with life skills that will enable them to fully integrate back into Israeli society.

Jerusalem is home to several shelters for battered women as part of the system for dealing with domestic violence. In these shelters women stay with their children for a period of several months, as an immediate response of physical and emotional protection.

The Jerusalem Foundation supports enrichment programs for the children alongside emotional treatments.

Cafe Europa is a socio-cultural club for Holocaust survivors that serves as a meeting place for them. Along with coffee and cake they enjoy a socio-cultural experience and share memories of a magnificent culture that was part of their childhood and that was destroyed by the Nazis.

Eight such clubs operate throughout the city, including in the ultra-Orthodox sector as well as for Holocaust refugees from the Commonwealth of Independent States and survivors from North Africa. as senior citizens, survivors also receive assistance in exercising rights in various areas, as well as personal attention and guidance from the accompanying coordinators. When they are unable to attend a meeting in person, volunteers come to their home.

The building’s main wing was built in the 1970s thanks to the Sherover family, today declared a preservation building.

Thanks to the contribution of the Crown family from Chicago and with the assistance of the Jerusalem Foundation, the Jerusalem Municipality and the Ministry of Culture, the construction of the second wing of the Jerusalem Theatre with 3 additional halls was completed. In recent years, two more halls have been opened to the public.
