About the project
Shiluv (Integration), the Institute for Family and Couple Therapy, was founded in 1971 to use the resources of the family to treat individual problems ranging from children’s behavior problems, to eating disorders, drug abuse, depression and more. Shiluv offers psychological counseling to residents of Jerusalem and the surrounding area who come from a wide variety of cultural, socio-economic, and religious backgrounds. The institute offers its services to an average of 320 families per year, in six languages and on a sliding scale according to income.
It also operates a professional training center. The Jerusalem Foundation has supported Shiluv’s counseling services, summer camps and publications.
