About the project
The Jerusalem Brass Ensemble was established in 1978 by members of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and consisted of a core of ten brass players and one percussionist. The ensemble performed a varied repetoire from 15th Century madrigals to Baroque fanfares to John Philip Sousa marches at local venues including the Jerusalem YMCA and Liberty Bell Garden, and at the city’s many open-air concerts.
