About the project
Na Laga’at (Do Touch) is a performance troupe consisting of 12 deaf-blind actors, most of whom suffer from Usher Syndrome. The group was established in 2002 to enable the deaf-blind to transcend their limitations and to contribute to society. Preparation for a performance is a long process involving work on motion skills and improvisation. The Jerusalem Foundation assisted the group in performing Light is Heard in Zig Zag in Toronto in 2005 as part of a North American tour.
