About the project
The Argentina School is a secular public elementary school in the Kiryat Hayovel neighborhood. The Jerusalem Foundation has supported several improvement projects at the school over the years: it created the David J. Neufeld Memorial Library in 1980; purchased equipment and furnishings in the 1990s; renovated the school’s computer laboratory in 1998, and built a community playground in the schoolyard together with neighborhood residents and architect Ya’el Mann in 2000. It also has supported specialized learning programs. The Ruthie & Sam (Rimonim) Kindergarten is located on the school premises.
