About the project
The Hammerman Kindergarten was built in 1964 between Hashomer and Sadeh Streets in the Katamon Chet neighborhood. The Jerusalem Foundation supported renovations to the building in 1993, including installation of new windows, repairs to walls, plumbing and play equipment, and purchase of kitchen equipment and books. The Jerusalem Foundation supported additional improvements in 2004, including renovation of the play yard, kitchen and bathrooms and installation of new flooring.
