About the project
The Josefowitz Library at the Patt Elementary School is in Loving Memory of Zelik Josefowitz and Frieda Shur Josefowitz.
The renovation of the library was completed in 1984, utalizing the available space so efficiently that different activities could take place at the same time at different ends of the library. In addition a further 1,500 new books tapes, and records were added to the library, a reference book section and computer space were also added enabling the children to complete their homework assignments easily. The library also allows the children to borrow books to take home and read, encouraging and developing their natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge.
