About the project
The Morris Walk Library is a public library branch located in an apartment building in the Rasco neighborhood. The library serves residents of several adjacent neighborhoods, including Nayot, Rechavia and Old Katamon. In 1987, it had 550 family members and by 2005, more than 800. The libray includes adults’, children’s, reference and periodicals sections and hosts weekly story hours. The Jerusalem Foundation helped establish the library and has supported the annual purchase of books over many years.
