About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation supported construction of Beit Bretter (Bretter’s House), a youth hostel for science education located on The Hebrew University’s Givat Ram campus, in 2005. The hostel serves as temporary home to visiting science students from Israel and abroad. The building marked the completion of the Jerusalem Foundation and the Hebrew University’s $25 million state-of-the-art Youth Science Complex that includes the adjacent Belmonte Science Laboratories Center and Joseph Meyerhoff Youth Center for Advanced Studies, and.the nearby Bernard M. Bloomfield Science Museum.
