About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation supported construction of the Brander Park & Gardens which is adjacent to the Meir Sherman Garden in the heart of the City Center in 1996. The park includes lawns, play equipment, games tables, benches and landscaping, and serves as a important recreational and leisure area for downtown residents, workers and shoppers. In 2000, the Foundation supported expansion of the park to double its size.
