About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation created the Abraham Gozlan Orchard by renovating a two-acre area on the slopes of Yemin Moshe opposite the Old City walls. The terraced gardens feature a promenade with shade pergolas at the top of the site, a formal staircase that leads down to a fountain area, and paths that wind through lawns and gardens. The orchard includes olive, date, pomegranate, fig, carob and almond trees. Stairways and paths link the orchard to the Yemin Moshe neighborhood and the Bloomfield Garden.
