About the project
Beginning in 1982, the Jerusalem Foundation supported an Adult Education Program that offered hundreds of courses over many years to adults in community centers and other venues. Basic education courses included reading and writing, English, mathematics, current events, democracy, child education and more. Other courses were designed for particular groups, such as women who never completed high school and new immigrants.
