About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation established the Archie Sherman Health Clinic by renovating the Kupat Holim Health Fund’s central Jerusalem clinic on Ben Yehuda Street in the City Center in 1987. Kupat Holim is the national health organization that provides comprehensive medical care and health insurance through a country-wide network of clinics, hospitals, laboratories and other medical facilities. The central Jerusalem clinic included a pharmacy and general, dental, women’s and pediatric services. In 1996, the clinic was moved to a new facility n the Mekor Baruch neighborhood.
