ETHICS IN BANKING A series of seminars dealing with various subjects such as “Reward Systems and Staff Incentives in Banks”” Disclosure and Protection of the Consumer,” And “Ethical Implications of New Technologies”. The banking and financial services industry is particularly sensitive, and so there are stricter regulations in place. Maintaining the confidence of the public/customer is essential for financial stability. The seminars examine various aspects of bank conduct that cannot always be tackled by legal means alone. “Codes of Ethics” are more flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances, but it is important that at all times these codes represent values important to the preservation of the organization’s professional integrity, reputation, and coherence.
