About the project
Bekol (With a Voice) advocates for the improvement of the welfare of the country’s 600,000 hearing-impaired people. It has successfully advocated for the installation of amplification systems in theaters, captions on TV programs and telephone relay services, and offers courses and self-help groups. The Jerusalem Foundation has supported the organization’s activities, courses and purchase of equipment. Since 2004, it has been located at Beit Zusman.
