About the project
ETHICS IN BUSINESS is becoming increasingly recognized as a worthwhile subject for study within both the business and academic communities. Many corporations are adopting corporate codes of ethics regarding both the conduct of their business and their responsibility toward the community. The acceptance of codes of business conduct is far from universal, there are differences in national attitudes and traditions, and constant technological developments that raise problems requiring fresh thinking. The enhancing of a better business environment and the promoting of corporate responsibility is still in its infancy in Israel. The purpose of the conference is to attract leading members of the business community, academic institutions and professionals to the importance of this subject. The conference consists of several one day programs each one devoted to a different issue, for example: The impact of Globalization, Ethics of Competition, Business in Society, Law in the Regulation of Business Effectiveness of corporate code of Ethics, and Experience of Multinational Companies Establishing Corporate Code of Ethics.
