About the project
Caring for our Community was an environmental awareness program for children conducted in various neighborhoods. The program began in Gilo as a project for kindergarten-age children and later expanded to elementary school-age children in Gilo, Neve Ya’acov and elsewhere. It included field trips to the Jerusalem Forest, tree and flower planting and cleaning in the children’s neighborhoods.
