About the project
Cleveland Garden is a playground located behind the Beit Shmu’el synagogue and yeshiva (institution for Torah and Talmud study), a focal point of life in the northern section of Romema known as Kiryat Mattersdorf, a Hassidic community named after Mattersburg (formerly Mattersdorf), Austria. The playground was created by a group of donors from Cleveland, Ohio, USA. It has been renovated and new equipment installed over the years.
