About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation provided support beginning in 1977 to enable local theater and folklore groups to produce performances in community centers around the city. In later years, three folklore groups merged to form the Municipal Folklore Troupe, which performed around the city, and at folklore festivals in Israel and abroad.
