About the project
Gan Dorot (Garden of the Generations) was built by the Jewish National Fund in 1965 on a corner lot in Abu Tor, on the border with what was then no man’s land. The garden included lawns, trees and walking paths. The Jerusalem Foundation renovated the garden, including repaving paths and installing new benches and play equipment in 1999.
