About the project
The Elementary School Reading Comprehension Program was a municipal project to evaluate and improve reading comprehension in elementary school children. 37 elementary schools participated in a diagnostic evaluation of third and fourth graders, teachers were trained and supervised by specialists, and programs to work with children in small groups were set up in specific neighborhoods and schools.
