French Hill, Hahagana st.

About the project

Gan Elli (Elli’s Garden) was created in 1993 in memory of Eli’ora Carmon, a representative of the Israeli embassy in Argentina and wife of the general counsel, who was killed when a car bomb exploded outside the Buenos Aires embassy in March 1992. The park includes benches, landscaping and play equipment next to the French Hill Central Synagogue on the corner of Hahagana and Hama’avak Streets in the French Hill neighborhood, where Carmon lived.
