About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation established a fund in 1996 to support enrichment activities for children in special education schools. In 1996 alone, more than 2,000 children from 13 schools attended performances at the Train Theater, watched animated films at the Jerusalem Film Center (Cinematheque), and participated in activities at the Bernard M. Bloomfield Science Museum, the Ein Ya’el Living Museum, the Tower of David Museum of the History of Jerusalem, the Tisch Family Zoological Gardens in Jerusalem, the Djanogly Visual Arts Center and other cultural facilities.
