About the project
The Erna D. Leir Peace Kindergarten is an integrated Jewish-Arab kindergarten that places equal emphasis on Jewish and Arab curriculum components. Approximately 120 children attend the kindergarten each year, where Jewish, Muslim and Christian holidays and traditions are taught. The kindergarten is housed in the Jerusalem International YMCA. The Jerusalem Foundation has supported physical improvements and activities at the kindergarten.
