About the project
George Him’s Jerusalem is a publication of selected drawings by British graphic designer George Him depicting projects undertaken by the Jerusalem Foundation. Him had many ties to Jerusalem and spent time at the Mishkenot Sha’ananim Guesthouse in 1981. Following his death in 1982, the Jerusalem Foundation published this brochure of Him’s lively drawings of community centers, parks, historic sites and other projects, which Mayor Teddy Kollek dedicated “to his memory, in appreciation for his deep friendship and devotion to Jerusalem.”
