About the project
The Gilo Religious Elementary School Alef was a religious public school that served the Gilo Alef neighborhood. The Jerusalem Foundation supported an enrichment program for Ethiopian immigrant children, which included academic help and after school activities to help the students make the difficult transition into the Israeli public school system. The school later merged with the Gilo Religious School Bet and relocated to a new facility on Tirosh Street. The school facility is used by another school.
