About the project

The Jerusalem Foundation established the Gulf War Emergency Aid program to help combat the negative effects engendered by the threat of Scud missiles aimed at Israel’s population centers during the 1990 Gulf War. Support enabled social service organizations to provide tutors to disabled children who spent many more hours than usual at home, to deliver hot meals and to seal rooms for the elderly and to offset revenue losses of the city’s cultural institutions.
