About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation supported renovation of a day care center on the corner of Dahomey and Hasaifan Streets in Kiryat Menachem in 1980. Work included interior improvements and installation of new outdoor play equipment. In the 1990s, the center closed and the facility became home to a soup kitchen operated by Nitzav Rafa’el, a volunteer organization that provides meals to approximately 200 neighborhood residents here everyday and delivers meals the homebound in the Talpiot neighborhood.
