About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation established the Jacques Levi Lassen Kindergarten at the end of path off of Hashomer Street in the Katamon Chet neighborhood in 1993. The project involved renovating a freestanding, two-classroom kindergarten that had been built in the 1960s and had fallen into disrepair. Work included construction of a small addition to house bathrooms and a kitchenette (which enabled the creation of a therapy room and enlargement of the classrooms), addition of a shade pergola, and facade and playground repairs.
