About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation supported the first Jerusalem International Jazz Festival in the summer of 2006. The Festival was founded by Jerusalem-based jazz musician Atcha Bar and was overseen by the Yellow Submarine. The festival included multiple concerts over four days, master clasees and jam sessions behind the old train station, at Mishkenot Sha’ananim, the Jerusalem Film Center (Cinematheque) and the Yellow Submarine. It drew musicians from around the world and 6,000 attendees.
