About the project
The Joseph Meyerhoff Library is a major public library that serves residents of the Ma’a lot Dafna and Ramat Eshkol neighborhoods (in 2006, it had approximately 4,000 library card holders). The facility includes an adult reading room, a children’s library, a computer laboratory and study rooms. It is located next to the Rene Cassin Municipal High School, whose students heavily use the library. The Jerusalem Foundation supported construction of the library in 1973 and renovations in 2003 that included purchase of computers and books.
