About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation created the Katie Manson Sensory Garden at the Israel Elwyn Jerusalem campus in 2006. The garden, designed by architect Ilana Ofir, features four corners, each created to stimulate one of four senses: sight, smell, sound and touch. The garden was created for use by Elwyn residents and other special needs Jerusalemites. The project was a joint effort of the Jerusalem Foundation and United Jewish Israel Appeal-Manchester, UK.
