About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation created the Heiman Garden, a neighborhood garden and playground that included walking paths, play equipment and an adjacent basketball court in 1975. In 1996, the Foundation undertook major renovations to the garden to create the Kaye Garden. Work included installation of new play equipment, shade pergolas, benches, lawns and landscaping. The park serves neighborhood children and seniors from two adjacent senior citizens homes.
