About the project
The Lotte & Walter Floersheimer Playground is a one-acre playground and garden including play equipment, benches and landscaping on the grounds of the Alejandro & Lilly Saltiel Community Center.The playground, designed by Shlomo Aronson, originally was intended to be a sculpture garden, and contains several play sculptures, including a concrete slide that descends from the community center building itself, and Dukdalf, a wood play sculpture created in 1975 by Dutch sculptor and typographer J.J. Beljon (1922-2002). The playground includes play equipment and landscaping.
