About the project
The Marjorie & Archie Sherman School was a secular public elementary school serving the Ma’a lot Dafna neighborhood. As the neighborhood became increasingly populated by ultra-Orthodox Jews in the late 1980s and 1990s, enrollment fell, and eventually, two other schools relocated to the facility: the ultra-Orthodox Kol Yisra’el Chaverim School and the Rene Cassin Municipal Junior High School.
