About the project
The Math Tent was a traveling exhibit that started in Italy, and came to Jerusalem due to the cooperation between the Bloomfield Science Museum and Al Quds University. The Jerusalem Foundation raised money for the purchase of the tent, connection to the electricity, heating and cooling systems, and the development of the area surrounding the tent. The exhibit stayed at the science museum for nine months.
Mathmatics was choosen because of its universality, and multicultural origins.
The permanant home for this exhibition was Al Quds University, where it became the cornerstone of the firstPalestinian Science Center
