About the project
The municipality established a youth center in the Remez School in Morasha (Musrara) in 1966, and relocated the center to its own facility in 1972. The Jerusalem Foundation renovated, furnished and equipped the facility in 1978. The center provided sports, afterschool activities, trips and more to approximately 150 neighborhood youth for many years. The center was later converted to serve other social service programs.
