About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation established the Nikanor Youth Club in 1985 in the Katamon Hey neighborhood to meet the needs of children in the Katamonim neighborhoods who live too far to walk to the large neighborhood’s community center (the Gonenim Community Center). The club was created by renovating and furnishing an existing wooden structure. Following the renovation, the Foundation supported ongoing activities at the club. The club was expanded and renovated with funding from the state lottery in 2006.
