Tamar one of the four females brought from Thailand, was chosen for the artificial insemination program at the zoo.
During, and after a six year period a German research team working in close cooperation with veterinarian staff at the zoo
Successfully brought young “Gabi” into the world. Gabi is the offspring of Tamar and Emmet the bull who resides at Whipsnade zoo in the UK.
