About the project
The Romema Mother & Child Care Center was built as a freestanding structure opposite the Joseph & Caroline Gruss Community Center in the north section of Romema (also known as Kiryat Sheva or Kiryat Mattersdorf). Later, a yeshiva (institution for Torah and Talmud study) was built next to and above it. It continues to serve women and children from the Romema neighborhood.
