About the project
The Rotem Sharvit Memorial Observation Point was created in memory of Sergeant Rotem Sharvit, a member of the Nahal brigade who was killed in battle in southern Lebanon in 1997 at the age of 18. The observation point is located at the intersection of Tsviya Veyitzchak, Snoonit and Yefe Rom Streets near Gilo Gimel (Kiryat Jack D. Weiler). It includes a memorial sculpture, landscaping and a pergola-covered observation area that provides a panoramic view of the city.
