About the project
The Shay Agnon House was the home of Israeli author and Nobel Prize winner Shmuel Yosef (Shay) Agnon (1888-1970). The home is open to the public as a museum exhibiting Agnon’s study, library and collections of his work.The Jerusalem Foundation has supported renovations to the library and educational activities at the house, including an annual study evening held in Agnon’s memory that includes a lecture by a writer, literature professor or other expert on the author’s work.
