About the project
The Jerusalem Foundation renovated a former two-room kindergarten building to create the Talpiot Community Club within Kiryat David in 1987.The club provides exercise, arts and crafts classes and other programs to approximately 100 senior citizens during the morning and early afternoon hours, serves as a learning center for neighborhood children in the afternoons, and is a community meeting place in the evenings. Renovations to create the club included general repairs, painting, purchase of furniture and equipment, and development of a garden.
