About the project
The Tidhar School is a public religious elementary school for children with severe learning disabilities located in the Katamon Alef neighborhood.The school serves approximately 100 children, aged 6-11 with dyslexia, motor problems and other disabilities who require small classes and physical, occupational and other therapy with the goal of eventual integration into the regular public school system. In 1997, the Jerusalem Foundation supported establishment of a school library and language room. It also has supported subsidies for visits to museums and other extracurricular activities.
