About the project
“Horse of Peace” one of several Veneti Horses world wide, sculptured and donated by artist Oskar Kogoj and family. It is a stylised depiction of the horse
from the Early Iron Age, images often found on pottery or as situla art. These horses can be found in several locations around the world: In front of the UN in Geneva, Neuberg complex in Soci on the shores of the Black Sea, The World Trade Center in Ljubljana, In the town square of Slovenj Gradec and of course in the Frances Hiatt Garden next to the original (old) Knesset building in Jerusalem.
