The “Yaelim” program in Ein Yael is a unique program that helps youth at risk in Jerusalem and the area. Many of the boys and girls participating in the program are prone to violence, drug or alcohol abuse and struggle with various learning disabilities.
Several program participants live on the street or in shelters for homeless youth and attend the program after dropping out of several educational and therapeutic programs.
The framework provides a unique solution for the youth using tools from nature therapy that uses nature as a therapeutic resource. involvement in nature helps empower these young people and provides them with life skills that will enable them to fully integrate back into Israeli society.
Commemoration through a sign in the Ein Yael area will enable the expansion of the assistance to as many teenagers as possible, prevent them from dropping out of schools and helping them reintegrate in society.
