The annual Manofim Art Festival celebrates its 18th edition this year. The Jerusalem Foundation was one of the first funders of the Festival and has continued to support it over its 18 years, viewing it as a remarkable initiative from the field that breathes new life into the city. Established as an independent project by Jerusalem-based artists Lee He Shulov and Rinat Edelstein, it has become a large and influential annual contemporary art event in Jerusalem, attracting thousands of attendees and visitors.

Over five days (14-18.7.2026), in collaboration with more than 30 contemporary art galleries, leading cultural centers and hundreds of independent artists and creators, the Festival celebrates Jerusalem’s artistic scene and diverse communities. It offers dozens of new exhibitions and a variety of original events and performances created especially, alongside ‘Manofim Tours’ – guided tours of the city’s artistic venues, and live music performances.

Manofim relates through multidisciplinary art to the human, public, historical and contemporary complexity of Jerusalem, combining high art with community boosting activities and welcoming audiences from the city’s diverse populations.

The 2026 Festival’s opening has three starting points, and the program continues with a rich array of art and community events, including a bi-lingual (Hebrew & Arabic) screening of the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup on ‘Bustana’ – the recently renovated Art Cube Rooftop; Saturday morning art programming for the whole family, providing quality family time for young families away from daily routines, and various exhibition openings, performances and explorations of the 2026 central theme – Recognition.

The Jerusalem Foundation is proud to partner with this vibrant, avant-garde production, supporting Jerusalem’s artists, art-lovers and culture ecosystem.
