Al Barkan Park

Communal Strength
1994
Katamonim, 12 Rabbi Zadok st.

About the project

The Al Barkan Park is located in front of the Audre Rapoport Givat Gonen High School. The park includes paved paths to replace dirt tracks where students walk between the school and the adjacent Givat Gonen Elementary School. The park was named for Alexander Barkan, American organized labor’s chief political fundraiser, campaign organizer and political operative for more than twenty years, who died in 1990.
