About the project

The Bnai Brith Library was founded in the 1960s by the Bnai Brith David Yellen Lodge of Jerusalem in a housing project on Ha’avivit Street in Ir Ganim Bet. In 1975, the Jerusalem Foundation renovated the library by creating a new entrance, making interior and exterior repairs and improvements and providing equipment and furnishings. In the early 1980s, it was again renovated and expanded. The library was later converted for use as a social services office.
